The last time I saw this on my dash, I didn’t think it would happen, so jokingly I wished I could go to a fun. concert.
I never bought from DollsKill because their merch is often overpriced and/or stolen designs on top of the brand being inherently insensitive to oppressive topics and racist while appropriating other cultures strictly for fashion purposes.
It is widely known within the alternative fashion community that Shoddy Lynn has terrible opinions and morals and most people who were/are aware distanced themselves a long time ago from supporting the brand whether they were customers, designers/vendors, photographers or models.
Hopefully after seeing what this brand truly stands for on such a high level people will finally open their eyes and stop supporting them. You can buy directly from the brands they partner with instead! DollsKill does not deserve the 3.3 million followers they have.
They have tried to backpedal and fan the flames but it is too late. DollsKill and Shoddy Lynn must not be forgiven. This is not a one time ordeal. This is a brand known for controversy on such topics.
Do not return to support DollsKill when BLM is no longer ‘trending’. Do not buy from DollsKill when everyone else begins to 'forget’.
I unfollowed them on all social media. I hope you do too.
Would anyone be interested in helping compile a list of items from the site that are available elsewhere? I’ve been meaning to do it to help people get better prices (since Dollskill stuff cost so much) but it might also be good because I’m sure a lot of the brands on the website are actually ok and just don’t know about the stuff she’s been saying.
If you read the comments on the brand’s IG posts you can see a lot of the brands they work with denouncing them! To steer traffic away from their site here is alternative sites you can buy their partnered brands from 😁
